Marine life-stranding events in Goa have become a growing concern, posing threats to the health of various species inhabiting the coastal regions. In Phase 1 of our Impact campaign, we started an Antibiotic Resiliency Study in stranded marine life in Goa to understand the impact of antibiotic exposure on these species and extrapolate the findings to address broader concerns related to wildlife treatment, community health and future policy recommendations.
We need to expand on this research to create better treatment protocols.
And to have proficient data to feed back on community health concerns and policy recommendations.
Aims to develop and strengthen research efforts on stranded turtles and other marine megafauna to ascertain the best treatment protocols for their safe recovery across India.
